The key difference: n8n is open source and can be self-hosted. Make offers a visual builder with strong value for money. Zapier is easiest to use but most expensive with many workflows.
Our Recommendation
For SMEs we recommend n8n. Self-hosted it costs nothing except the server (about 10 EUR/month). Data stays in the EU and flexibility is unbeatable. Make is a good alternative if the team has no technical experience. Zapier only makes sense for few, simple automations.
Claude vs. ChatGPT: Which AI Model for SMEs?
Claude (by Anthropic) and ChatGPT (by OpenAI) are the two leading AI language models. Both can generate text, analyze documents and write code. The difference lies in safety, data privacy and specializations. For SMEs, API costs and GDPR compliance are particularly important.
Our Recommendation
For enterprise applications in SMEs we recommend Claude. Output quality for long documents is higher, the safety architecture is more robust and API prices are comparable. ChatGPT has advantages in image recognition and plugins. For GDPR-critical applications, a self-hosted model (e.g. via Ollama) is the safest option.
